We found a condo in the same neighborhood that we live in! So dont worry Janice and Shannon, we're just as close to your hotel as before, just we'll have our own place instead of picky downstairs neighbors we'll have a garage!

So I can give a link to pictures of the place. Granted, I have NO idea who took these pictures to put up, but they probably benifited us, because when they dropped the price on this place and we came in to snatch it up, we were first in line cause we were the first to talk to the seller since the price drop. (Granted, it was what, two days after the price drop, hehe) The pictures plainly suck. I mean, they do not do the place justice. There is about two good ones.. the kitchen and the living room area. But this place is awesome! So time for story.

The previous owner was a corporate lady for Starbucks. Well, she still is actually, but they moved her to Sacramento. She planned on living in this place for a long time, so she started making it all homey. She hired professional designers to paint the walls in nice tones, she had super soft floors put in.. and she put brand new appliances and a washer and dryer in the unit. Theres a lot more but thats the main things. Keep in mind this place is only 11 years old!

It has a built in garage as the bottom floor, a door opening up from the garage into the entry way so we can take our shoes off and also hang coats up down there, its big enough! Then the actual condo is upstairs. (Thats why its a condo and not a townhome cause its 'one floor' even tho we have the garage and entryway downstairs) Its a corner unit which means we have only one person next to us. That was another of the major plus's cause really thats AMAZING. Anyway, the living room is at the top of the stairs, the kitchen is to the right, and the dining room and door to the balcony is sort of past the living room in an alcove. The 2nd bedroom has double doors that open into the room. Woo! It has a nice 'regular' bathroom and a master bathroom suite with giant tub and his and her sinks. It also has a big ole walk in closet along with the garage storage so we wont have to store any of our stuff cluttered in the rooms any more! Its gunna feel huge with all of the stuff put away! Its about 200 sq feet more than we have now.

The owner took our first offer! (Which frankly, with the price as low as it was, I would have been reluctant to take the offer.. we had her pay the 6k in closing costs!) We had a lot of knowledge of the area and prices in the area and this one was dropped to a GREAT price.. no joke.. when the housing market goes back up, at the least, we'll gain over 50k in value from when it was bought, cause all the units in the complex 3 years ago sold for 50k more than they do now! Thats our goal as well, because we wanted to get something to invest in that will be good for us, and then when the value goes up, we'll sell it and move into a bigger place (most likely a house) and use the condo value as a good big down payment!

Anyway, Shann and Janice will get to see it this summer! Then Jeff and Apryl need to come *cough* and we'll have a BBQ shindig!
